So this is my first time coming to this place somebody introduced me to it this morning at 4 AM. She wanted me to try the Umeboshi Onigiri. it's truly good. It reminds me of Mexican candy to be honest with you just like marinated in lemon juice the plum sauce the restaurant itself is super cute. It looks like a street like in the alley or perhaps like a street in Japan due to the lanterns in my opinion, that you'd go eat at I don't know either way it's super cute. The people are super friendly very knowledgeable. The chef is super smiley very welcoming. It's just an overall good filling atmosphere. I will definitely be back not sure for what but I will definitely be back.
This was one of our favorite meals during our 2025 Vegas trip. Our family of four shared the following: 1) Udon with waygu beef 2) Beef tongue 3) Yakitori 4) Miso mackerel 5) Sea urchin 6) Ika mentai tempura Everything was excellently executed, fresh, and memorable. If I had to choose my favorites, it would be the beef tongue, sea urchin, and ika mentai tempura. Coming from Chicago, we have very limited options with izakaya.
Love that this place is open super late. Had the gyudon and it was delicious. The place is small and sometimes it can be a long wait, but it's worth it. The food is great and so is the service. This is definitely a place to go. This is also the place to get the mega honey toast! I didn't order it, but the table next to me did. It's a tower of 5 honey toasts stacked on top of one another. The table next to me were celebrating something but you can order one just for the heck of it too. Lol
Ichiza was a late night 2am spontaneous decision that had zero regrets. Their menu has almost everything from skewers, agedashi tofu, to collar. We wanted to try everything but picked the chef specials such as beef tongue and oxtail. Every dish was flavorful and over expectations. We were worried about coming in so late at night but it made our service twice as attentive (bc we were the only ones there ) Interior gives the late night izakaya vibes where you drink the night away with close friends and strangers alike.
Great local spot to enjoy bites and drinks w friends. Lots of delicious items on the menu. There's a lil something for everyone. * beef stew (5/5) - recommend * chicken gizzard stir fry (5/5) - recommend for yummy lemon pepper flavor * ika somen w mentaiko (4/5) * gyutan skewer (4/5) * mega honey toast (4/5) Service was super kind, fast, and accommodating to our large group! Thank you to the Ichiza team.
I've come here on two occasions - first time for breakfast and once for dinner. Both times were fantastic. I came for the breakfast because I saw they offered ochazuke which I have only had once in Japan and I never got the chance to try again stateside. The combo set was healthy and generous and was light and savory - perfect for breakfast. When we came for dinner we got a mix of sushi/sashimi and skewers and their menu was simple but all very good. Great quick and no frills service.
Food: - Buta kakuni- my daughter LOVED this - Sashimi - 3 kinds. This was very fresh , probably the best dish we ordered. - grilled onigiri. This is ok. Nothing is inside. - grilled miso cod. Very good. - salmon ochazuke. Bland. Pass. - agedashi tofu. Just ok. The batter seemed wrong. - grilled mushroom. So surprisingly delicious. The sauce was yum. Get this. - grilled chicken ball. Dry. Pass - grilled chicken wing, chicken with pork. Just ok I wish they would make a sashimi salad and add vegetable tempura to the menu. Service: this girl could not smile to save her life. Devoid of any personality. Ambiance: several tables, bar seating and Japanese style seating with your feet dangling down the hole. Tip: make reservations.
A vegas staple for years. Always great Japanese izakaya. Open practically all day and night. Noticed that they now serve Japanese breakfast meal. Great selection of food. This visit had to try something we haven't had from there- Japanese tongue stew. Delicious. Needing a bowl of rice to eat which they provided. Sushi hand rolls are always great. Great service. They have selection of beer as well.
Ichiza has been my go to spot since I moved to Vegas 4-5 years ago! I bring all my visitors here. The yakitori is delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced. Some nights they do run out of the good stuff, like beef tongue! I also love their Salmon Skin Salad. Seems basic but you have no idea you had the best until you keep having terrible ones. The skin is crispy and their dressing is light but flavorful and refreshing! They do have a secret menu, one item that I always order is the Salmon Fried rice. Everything here is delicious, my most recent addiction is a new item added to the menu: Pink Caviar Cream Udon, the texture, flavors (umami) is through the roof and they top it off with shiso leaf. Took me forever to figure what the leaf was!
